We enjoyed the famous Glockenspiel—the musical clock that chimes with mechanical dancers.

We also visited the Munich zoo on the last day. Why would we choose to do something that required more walking is a profound mystery. We enjoyed Munich but got back to the hotel quite exhausted. Munich has quite a bit of charm for a big city—very ornate buildings and they love their fountains.

 Looking forward to Salzburg and the Sound of Music . . .
